This top began as a sari. Somewhere in India, it was chosen, worn, and loved. Now it's yours. Cut and handmade in Austin into something entirely new, while carrying every thread of where it came from.

Chakkar means a spin, a whirl, a delicious dizziness. Look at this print long enough and you'll feel it. Geometric star-burst motifs in green, violet, and indigo, with a gold zari woven border. There is nothing subtle about it, and that is exactly the point.

The lightweight pure silk makes it breathable and breezy. The kind of fabric that feels like nothing on a hot summer day. Wear it to Friday night dinner with wide-leg trousers and gold earrings, or to the farmer's market on Sunday morning with your favorite denim shorts. It moves the way silk moves: effortlessly.

No two are alike. The print, the pattern, the exact fall of color across the fabric is completely unique to the sari it came from. When this one is gone, it's gone.
