Dhoop Chhaon - Sun & Shade

Two worlds in one fabric. The body is a warm champagne silk with delicate shibori-style crack-line texture, like sunlight through a window. The border and pallu is dramatic: deep black with large white floral blooms, amber accents and rope-twist trim using batik block printing. Dhoop Chhaon is the phrase Urdu poets use for life's beautiful contrasts, which this fabric embodies completely.
